About Us
Pawprint Family is a growing creative business on a mission to bring adventures, stories and meaningful experiences to young people and the adults who support them. From challenge badges and licensed collections to milestone products and a growing range of patches, pins and collectibles, we create high-quality products designed to inspire learning, connection and joy.
We’re a small, friendly team where ideas matter and you can genuinely see the impact of your work. We’re now looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Content Assistant to join us through a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship and help bring our brands, products and campaigns to life.
The Role
Join Pawprint Family as a Marketing & Content Assistant and build hands-on experience across social media, content, campaigns and digital marketing. A brilliant first step into a creative marketing career.
You’ll work across a wide range of marketing channels, helping us create engaging content, launch new products, grow our communities and tell the stories behind our brands.
No two days are quite the same. One day you might be filming a TikTok or Reel, the next helping build an email campaign, updating the website, researching a new trend or preparing content for a product launch.
You’ll be encouraged to bring your own ideas, experiment, learn and gradually take ownership of areas of our marketing as your skills and confidence grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Creation
Help plan, create and schedule content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
Create engaging short-form video content including Reels and TikToks.
Support photography, video, graphics and behind-the-scenes content creation.
Help maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual style across our social channels.
Keep an eye on emerging trends, formats, audio and content opportunities.
Contribute ideas for new posts, campaigns and ways to engage our communities.
Campaigns & Product Launches
Support the planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns, new product launches and promotional activity.
Help manage marketing and social media content calendars.
Assist with campaign copy, imagery and supporting content.
Work with the wider team to make sure launches and campaigns are delivered on time and consistently across channels.
Support marketing activity around licensed collections, events and key moments throughout the year.
Email, Website & Digital Marketing
Support the creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns, newsletters and product communications.
Help update website content including product pages, landing pages, blogs and campaign messaging.
Carry out basic keyword research and support SEO activity.
Help ensure website and digital content remains accurate, engaging and up to date.
Support wider e-commerce and digital marketing activity where required.
Reporting & Research
Monitor social media, website and campaign performance using analytics tools.
Help identify what content and campaigns are performing well and where improvements could be made.
Research competitors, customers, trends and new marketing opportunities.
Support the preparation of marketing reports and performance updates.
Keep up to date with new social platforms, marketing tools and industry developments.
Collaboration & Wider Marketing
Work closely with colleagues across product, design, sales and operations.
Support photography and video creation in the office, at events and on location where required.
Assist with marketing activity for trade shows, exhibitions, retail partners and wholesale customers.
Support wider brand and marketing projects across the business.
Bring ideas to the table and get involved — we’re a small team, so there will always be opportunities to learn something new.
About You
You don’t need previous professional marketing experience — that’s what the apprenticeship is for.
You’ll thrive with us if you’re:
Genuinely interested in marketing, social media, brands and content creation.
Familiar with platforms such as Instagram and TikTok and interested in what makes great content.
Creative and confident coming up with new ideas.
Comfortable creating or helping to create photo and video content.
A strong written communicator with good attention to detail.
Organised and able to manage several different tasks at once.
Comfortable using technology and keen to learn new tools and platforms.
Curious, proactive and willing to have a go.
Happy working as part of a small, collaborative team.
Excited by the idea of learning quickly and gradually taking on more responsibility.
Bonus points for:
An interest in retail, e-commerce, design or consumer brands.
Experience creating content for your own social channels, school, college, a club or organisation.
Some familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe software or similar creative tools.
An interest in photography, video or graphic design.
Experience using social media scheduling or analytics tools.
A love of badges, patches, pins, collecting, children's brands or literary characters.
An understanding of Scouts, Guides, home education or other youth organisations.
The Apprenticeship
Alongside your role at Pawprint Family, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing Apprenticeship with support from our apprenticeship training provider.
You’ll combine practical, hands-on experience with structured learning, developing skills across areas including content creation, social media, digital marketing, campaign planning, customer engagement, analytics and marketing strategy.
We want this to be the start of a marketing career rather than simply an apprenticeship. As your skills and confidence grow, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership of our marketing activity and progress within the business.
