Who is responsible for the safety of young people whilst completing Pawprint Family activities?

The health and safety of you and your young people always lies with you. Our activities are suggested ideas only and you are encouraged to adapt and change them to meet the needs and abilities of your young people. If at any time you feel an activity is unsuitable or may cause harm or distress you are responsible for stopping the activity.

It is important to reassure young people that there is a safe space and people they can speak to should they be affected by any of the issues arising from your activities. Advice and guidance on keeping children safe can be found on the NSPCC website, here.

You should follow any health and safety guidance provided by relevant organisations and complete a risk assessment if required.

For more information on safety whilst completing your Pawprint Trails please see our conduct policy here.
