Pawprint Family FAQ’s

Can I have multiple receipts for parts of my order?

We're afraid not. If you need multiple receipts (i.e. One for Beavers and one for Cubs) please place multiple orders.

I live outside the UK, do you deliver internationally?

We do indeed! Wherever you live in the world we're more than happy to send items to you. More information on locations, costs and estimated delivery times can be found over on our Delivery and Returns page here: https://pawprintfamily.com/delivery-returns/

Can I add anything to my order after I have placed it?

Unfortunately not. As the majority of our systems are now linked together, once your order has been placed information is automatically sent between them. If you need any additional products, please place a separate order.

How does the Loyalty Scheme work?

For each order that is placed, you will receive sheets with both a loyalty sticker and some fun stickers on it. You will be sent loyalty stickers based on the value of products (inc VAT) in your order (this does not include shipping).  i.e. up to £30.00 = 1 sheet, £30.01 to £60.00 = 2 sheets, £60.01 to £90.00 = 3 sheets, £90.01 to £120.00 = 4 sheets etc. Loyalty stickers can be stuck onto your loyalty card, which can be downloaded from here. Once you have collected enough loyalty stickers for your chosen free goody, send it back to us and we'll sort it for you. Please note that we are not responsible for any lost loyalty cards or stickers which have been lost or thrown away.

I received stickers with my order. What should I do with them?

You have received a loyalty sticker and some fun stickers. Your loyalty sticker can be added to your loyalty card, whereas your fun stickers are just for fun! They can be given out to your young people as rewards or why not use them in an activity? Check out the Loyalty Scheme FAQ for more information on your loyalty stickers.

My order has not arrived, what should I do?

All our orders are dispatched using Royal Mail delivery service. Guidance for UK deliveries is to allow up to 10 working days after the day of dispatch for parcels to arrive. If your order has still not arrived after 10 working days, please get in touch with us using the contact form and we'll happily find a solution for you.

Who is responsible for the safety of young people while completing Pawprint Family activities?

The health and safety of you and your young people always lies with you. Our activities are suggested ideas only and you are encouraged to adapt and change them to meet the needs and abilities of your young people. If at any time you feel an activity is unsuitable or may cause harm or distress you are responsible for stopping the activity. It is important to reassure young people that there is a safe space and people they can speak to should they be affected by any of the issues arising from your activities. Advice and guidance on keeping children safe can be found on the NSPCC website, here.  You should follow any health and safety guidance provided by relevant organisations and complete a risk assessment if required. Can I reserve stock?

Strictly the answer is no, although if selecting to pay by cheque or bank transfer then we will hold your products for 7 days from the date of order. If we do not receive your payment within 7 days and items go out of stock your order will only be dispatched once all items are back in stock.

Do you offer bulk discount?

Unfortunately we do not offer any discount on the purchase price of our products, regardless of quantity. All our products are priced competitively and we believe that, with the donation to the Pawprint Trust and the quality we insist on, they are the best value for money we can offer.

How can I unsubscribe from your mailing list?

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list by selecting unsubscribe at the bottom of our Newsletter emails.

What Online Payment types do you offer?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our payment handler Stripe along with Paypal payments. Please note we do not handle your card details, these remain secure with our partners.

Can I pay by Bank Transfer?

Yes. To purchase via Bank Transfer, please select 'Pay By Bank Transfer' at the Checkout and follow the instructions. Once we have received your payment and all items are in stock we will send out your order and confirm via email. Please make sure you reference your order number when making the transfer. Please note: items will be reserved for 7 days, if after this time payment has not been received and items go out of stock your order will not be dispatched until items return to a status of 'in stock'.

Can I pay by Cheque?

Yes. To purchase via Cheque, please select 'Pay By Cheque' at the Checkout and follow the instructions :). Pawprint Badges FAQ’s

How do I sew my badges onto my camp blanket?

It's easy! Just watch the following video of Charlotte explaining the best way to sew on your badges. Happy sewing!

Where do I find the Children’s University codes?

All the codes will be available after purchase on both your order confirmation email and on your My Account > Orders section.

The stock quantity showing on the product page is less than I need, will you be restocking?

All of our badges are regularly restocked and the next delivery date will be shown on the product page. Whilst we aim not to run out of stock sometimes we experience demand higher than anticipated. If you are unsure please contact us with your requirements. Dated badges are Limited Edition and are not restocked past the specific date of the event.

What size are your badges?

All our badges are approximately 3.5 inches (9cm) at their widest point, fully embroidered with a laser cut edge. However they all differ in specific dimensions, so please check the individual product pages for more information relating to the sizes.

Can I return badges if I’ve over-ordered?

Yes. As long as your badges are in their original condition and returned in line with our returns policy. Please check out our Delivery and Returns policy for more information.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Absolutely not.  Whether you are after 1 or a 1000 items we will always make sure you get your order. If you require large quantities please do get in touch to discuss your requirements so we can ensure you receive your items before your deadline.

Can I use Pawprint Badges in schools/nurseries?

Definitely! Pawprint Badges can be a great addition to any extra-curricular clubs, holiday or after school activities. Our activity ideas are suitable for ages 3-18+ but we do encourage you to adapt activities to meet the needs of your young people. If you’d like one of the team to talk to your school about adding Pawprint Badges to your offer, please contact us using the ‘Contact Us’ page and we’d be happy to arrange a call/visit.

Can I use Pawprint Badges as part of our Home Education journey?

Absolutely! Many home schoolers/those who are home educated are using our badges as an addition to their learning. Please feel free to adapt the activity ideas you find in our challenge packs and on our website and add your own...the world is your oyster (though we prefer calamari)!

Pawprint Trails FAQ’s

There isn’t a Trail near me, will you be adding them in my region?

Initially launching with 4 locations we planned to add new ones each term (January, May and September). We've split the UK in to 12 regions, including Northern Ireland and we plan to add Trails in each location throughout the year with the plan going forward to add at least one Trail to each region each year. Unfortunately Pawprint Trails were launched just as the UK Lockdown happened as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently there have been some delays in the gathering of Trail content and production, however Trails are suitable for social distancing and we wish you all lots of happy adventures exploring the UK!

Do I need to be able to drive to do a Trail?

No! Pawprint Trails are based in locations around the UK and are accessible by road, rail or horse and cart if you're that way inclined! In your order confirmation email we include some useful info to help you get started with your trail so make sure you check that out too...plus you'll need it for your Unique Reference Code which allows you to enter your answers online when you're done.

How do Pawprint Trails work?

Each trail consists of 2 booklets enclosed in a cardboard storage sleeve. Your instruction and answer booklet contains some fun facts to get you started along with instructions on how to record your answers. Your Trail booklet contains all the directions and clues you'll need to take yourself on a guided walk around your chosen location along with a handy map (just incase)!   Follow the directions and solve the clues, finding your answers on signs, architectural features, buildings, statues and permanent installations. Before you know it you'll have walked a fair way, seen the sights, discovered some fun facts and earned yourself a brew and a piece of cake!

Who are Pawprint Trails for?

Pawprint Trails are suitable for families, groups, couples or individuals...no young people are required! Pawprint Trails can be used as a fun day out, to fill a few hours, or as part of a longer break. Each Trail gives 'Here's an Idea!' suggestions of other things to see and do on your Trail whilst the map (enclosed in your Trail booklet) contains some 'Extend your Adventure' ideas that will take your further afield. Once you've entered your answers online there's even more activity ideas to keep your adventures flowing. Activity ideas are displayed on the 'Submit an Answer' page once you enter your trail location and answers, these may be crafts, food, games or other adventures in the same style as activities linked to Pawprint Badges.

Pawprint Tales FAQs

Can I buy copies of the Tales for my school/nursery?

Absolutely! Unfortunately we're not able to offer any educational discount at present as our products are as competitively priced as they can be but Pawprint Tales are perfect for sharing with your class or for young people to enj0y on their own.

What age are Pawprint Tales aimed at?

Pawprint Tales are written for readers age 7-11 though the books do include things to spot in the illustrations which is idea for including younger members of the family. Our author Danny is passionate about not dumming things down though so there are some more complicated words thrown in there too. Written in rhyme Pawprint Tales are ideal to share as a family before or after your Trail adventure though they're just as fun for reading alone and Alfie enjoys them too...they're not just for humans!

Pawprint Trust FAQs

Do you have an electronic version of the application form?

Unfortunately not. At present the application form is a pdf. file for you to download. You may fill in the form electronically then print it and send it or email it to us. This is something we are working on for the future to make the application process easier and more accessible. Please note we are happy to received scanned forms by email to [email protected].

I’ve put in an application, when can I expect to hear if I’ve been successful?

Applications are open between 1st January and 31st March each year. Successful applicants will be notified in writing (via letter) no later than 31st May. Please note that due to the number of applications we receive we are unable to provide receipt of applications, respond to applications individually or provide specific feedback where applicants are unsuccessful.

How does my purchase help support young people?

For every transaction, a percentage of profits will be donated from Pawprint Family brands to The Pawprint Trust. As stated in The Pawprint Trust’s Governing Document, there is an application process every year which offers the opportunity for young people to apply for a grant. Once the application window has closed, the trustees of the Pawprint Trust will make an informed decision in how the funds are distributed and will contact the applicants directly if they have been successful. The personal donations made from Pawprint Badges to the Pawprint Trust underlines our belief in Adventure For All. It is our goal and aim to continue donating funds to The Pawprint Trust to support young people in their fantastic adventures.
