Badgevent FAQs
🎄 Where will you attach your badges?
Some people like to have a separate blanket for their Christmas badges which we think is a great idea, but some other suggestions from our customers include a festive cushion cover or on the back of a festive dressing gown! We've got a variety of options for you to choose from, from blankets to bunting, neckers to pennants.

🎁 How big will the finished 24 day design be?
Please see the individual products for specifications and sizes.
🧩 Will my 24 badges fit together straight away?
Yes! If you're purchasing a 24-day calendar, each badge you open will fit to another that you have already opened. They’re effectively a jigsaw puzzle. We will provide a sewing guide download to help you fit your badges together.
The badges in the 12-day calendar DO NOT fit together and are 12 individual designs.
🛑 Will the badges be available to buy individually?
No. The only way to get your paws on the Badgevent Calendar badges is in the Badgevent Calendars.
👨👩👧👦 Do I need to buy one calendar for each member of my family/group?
That’s totally up to you. The only way to get the badges is to buy a Badgevent Calendar. If you have 3 children who each want a set of badges, then you’ll need 3 calendars. Alternatively, leaders could buy one calendar and sew the badges onto a group blanket, or if group members want their own set of badges, leaders can order on behalf of their group or send their young people’s parents/carers a sign-up link to join the festive family.
✨ Are the challenges easy?
Yes! They’re designed to help you get in the festive spirit and spread some Christmas cheer. Some are individual challenges, others to enjoy with family or friends, and some will benefit others or your community.
📅 Can we see the challenges before we open our calendar(s) so we can be prepared?
Yes! Every activity will be on a separate card in each pocket of your 24 calendar, meaning you can see them and swap them as you see fit. We will be releasing a standard challenge and equipment list for you to download for free so you can be prepared, along with a set of additional/optional challenges for you to swap in/out as you see fit. There will also be exclusive free downloads to support some of the activity ideas too, so keep checking back or join our Badgevent Facebook community.
👶 Are the calendars suitable for adults and children?
Yes! We believe in adventure for all, so the challenges are suitable for all ages, although our smallest adventurers will need some adaptation or assistance with some challenges. This year we've created activity cards so you can see and switch any activities as you see fit, with additional activity cards available in an exclusive free download.
🛍️ How many can I buy?
As many as you require. Please bear in mind that advent calendars are only available while stocks last. During this time you may purchase as many as you need; leaders can order on behalf of groups, and you can get together with friends to save on postage costs.
🕒 When can I buy?
Last year's buyers will get the first opportunity to purchase this year's designs in an exclusive pre-order window which opens on 4th July. If there are any calendars left, pre-order will open to the general public at 00.00 on 23rd August and be advertised in our newsletter email.
🎅 Can I buy Badgevent products for friends/family?
Absolutely! We'd thoroughly recommend sharing the Badgevent experience with friends and family so you can experience the magic of Badgevent together. As with all our badges, resale is against our Terms and Conditions in order to protect the donations to the Pawprint Trust, but that doesn't stop you ordering on behalf of a group :)
🔁 Will you be able to buy all these designs again in future?
We hope so, although we cannot guarantee it. We plan to launch a new 24-day design and a new 12-day set each year, and those who order this year’s calendars will get the first opportunity to order next year’s designs.
📦 Is postage and packaging included?
No. As with any of our products, postage and packaging is not included. This allows us to keep our product prices as low as possible. Postage will be calculated based on the weight and size of your order, and all our postage rates can be found on the Terms & Conditions page.
🚚 When will I receive my Badgevent Calendar(s)?
If you're bagging yourself a calendar during our pre-order events, then your calendar(s) will be dispatched on or before 26th August. If you're lucky enough to bag a calendar on general release, then your calendar will be sent as soon as possible after this date. If you order any other items at the same time as your calendar, your order will be placed on hold, as usual, until all items are in stock and ready to dispatch.
