For Leaders
Hermit crabs live in a shell which they change when they get too large for it. Split the group into 2 halves. One half will be the shells, standing spaced out with their arms out stretched and hands joined. The other half will scuttle around moving sideways like crabs until the caller shouts, “find a shell!”. Each crab should then find themselves a shell by ducking under and into the arms of the ‘shell’. Each time a shell should be removed and any crab without a shell when the caller has shouted will be out of the game.
